Performing Arts Club

Another year for Garden Springs Elementary School’s after school Performing Arts Club is about to begin! This club is for fourth and fifth graders interested in activities in drama, dance, and music. Becoming a member in the Performing Arts Club can help students build confidence, and encourages working with others. It also gives our future celebrities an outlet for showing their talents! We will meet on Monday afternoons form 2:45-3:45p.m., with no transportation provided, beginning Monday, September 10th.
The Performing Arts Club will rehearse all year for one major performance in the spring. Not only will we need actors and actresses, singers and dancers, but also stage directors and sound technicians!
Being a part of a club requires proper behavior. Therefore, the Performing Arts Club Directors have the right to dismiss any student because of poor behavior.
To get started on the road to show business, please sign the permission slip and return to Ms. Downs, along with a $5.00 membership fee by Friday, September 14.
We will also need many parent volunteers to assist during rehearsals and performances. If you would like to help out in any way, please let us know on the permission slip.
